Karren is currently training with me once a week using free weights, kettlebells and circuit based CV & plyomteric exercises. She is working towards a 1000 mile bike ride which she is doing for charity. We have been working together over the past few weeks to build strength, muscular endurance and flexibility in order to help karren to complete her challenge.

I had been a keen gym-goer for 10 years when I met Dave. Keen but not confident…
I was stuck in the rut that many women are, sticking to the cardio machines in the gym and organised classes. I thought that the weights area was for men and that I would get bulky and put on weight if I lifted anything heavy.

I started training with Dave and I weighed 18 stone 7lbs! I was attracted to the idea of doing kettlebells they seemed to get people working hard and that’s what I needed to do at the time. Dave trained me twice a week for a period of 40 days and gave me a program of CV to do on my own and a very detailed diet plan. I managed to drop down to 16 stone by the end of the 40-day period! I came to train with Dave after a massive lay off from fitness due to a very serious car accident, I was still in quite a lot of pain with my neck due to damage
from the accident. Dave very gently strengthened the muscles around the injured area and managed to increase the movement in my neck and the pain and stiffness subsided within the first few sessions. I am now feeling fitter more confident to do everyday tasks and my pain is gone!! Amazed after months at physio and seeing specialist with no results all I need to do was get my body moving a bit and I feel fantastic.

I am quite a experienced guy in with gym work but I came to Dave and he took me to the next level working me hard with circuits and doing boxing with pads. I used to just do bodybuilding training and thought I was fit – I am now!
Alan started 3rd July 2012 he had 14% bodyfat weighed 179lbs and had 153.9lbs of lean mass, we took Biosiganture measurements and made some simple suggestions and created a plan together to get Alan leaner. On 31st July 2012 Alan re-measured at 10.9% bodyfat weighed 177lbs and had 157.8lbs of lean mass, this represents and amazing achievement with a huge bodyfat loss and weight loss but at the same time a huge muscle gain of 4lbs!
